Engineering Insurance

This insurance policy protects both the contractors and the project owners against material loss or damage including work in progress and construction equipment and machinery losses.

 

Types of Engineering Insurance Service

 

CONTRACTOR'S ALL RISK (CAR)

Insured civil works or project during the course of construction against sudden and unforeseen loss or damage occurring with the period of cover. It also insures liability of the insured against third party resulting from the construction activities and happening within the immediate vicinity of the construction site.

 

ERECTION ALL RISK (EAR)

This provides insurance for buildings and civil projects during the process of installation and erection. Same cover with CAR.

 

MACHINERY BREAKDOWN INSURANCE (MBI)

provides insurance to the damage of machinery and equipment due to technical operation or physical causes.

 

ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT INSURANCE (EEI)

This insurance protects against loss or damage to specialized electronic equipment such as computer, including x-ray machines, communication facilities, computerized process equipment and teller machines.
